In the winter months, blankets become our best buddy! Isn’t it? It seems to be really great to cuddle under the blankets in the winter months. But the problem is, all the blankets are not so much comfortable. If it does not fulfill the purpose for what we are having it, then what’s the deal? Blankets are best prepared at home but sewing them is a different issue. I think you should try out making no sew blanket. Don’t worry as I am there to help you out!!!
Follow the basic steps and prepare your own no sew fleece blanket!

Materials needed:-

1. 1.5 yards of fleece and that also of particular pattern
2. Again, 1.5 yards of fleece but of different pattern.
3. Sharp scissors
4. Measuring tape or ruler.

Now let’s have a look at the instruction below:-

Firstly, cut those pieces of fabrics in a definite shape. Place the two fabrics one after another ensuring that both their edges and corners are one after another.

Secondly, use a ruler or a measuring tape to blotch out 5 inch square from each of the 4 corners and cut those marked squares perfectly.

Thirdly, make fringes along the edges of those blankets and for this purpose you will need a ruler. Cut the fleece at the marked places making 3 to 4 inches long cut and that also on both the pieces.

Fourthly, now your job is to start tying by taking each fringe separately. Try to tie double knots so that they don’t come off easily.

Last but not the least; straighten those knots by pulling each edge from the corner properly. Assure that the knots are tied properly and after everything is done flip over the blanket so that everyone can have a look. Wow….what a mexican blanket!!!
